RICOLOPEZ is an International Artist who was awarded the Key to Miami Beach and a recognition prize by the City of Miami due to his outstanding contribution to the Spanish culture in the United States of America.

RICOLOPEZ was born in Yecla (Murcia)-Spain in 1925.He started his artistic career in 1953 attending the Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Jorge in Barcelona and the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Valencia.He was a disciple of valencian Artist Manuel Siguenza.

RICOLOPEZ has been a guest of honor at The International Exhibition of the "Salon des Nations a Paris" and has held one-man exhibitions in Paris, London, Chicago, Miami, Puerto Rico, Madrid, Murcia, Barcelona, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca and many other cities.

He belongs to the International Painting Group of the Sixty One (Tempra) Gallery in London. He has been the " Featured artist" in "The Finest in the Midwest Shows '99" in Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee. He has received a honorable tribute in the "Egypt Embassy" in Madrid, Spain.

His work is held in public and private collections all over the world. At the present time he has his work at "Nicole Gallery" in Chicago," Galeria Caelum" and " Galeria Kleisler" both in Madrid.

2005-2008:

- RICOLOPEZ had an showing at the International Fine Arts Exhibition "Iberoamerican Artistic Development" at One Brickell Square Gallery in Miami April 2005.
- Exhibition "Unfolding the Mind " at AZUCART GALLERY in CORAL GABLES, Florida on November 4th, 2005 where he shared the space with his daughter sculptor Dulce Maria Rico. The exhibition ended November 29th , 2005.
- On February 2nd, 2006 RICOLOPEZ had an exhibition "Color and Tranquility" at AGORA GALLERY in Chelsea, New York, NY.
- On March 28th, 2006 RICOLOPEZ had a showing at Coral Gables Education Center in Coral Gables , Florida.
RICOLOPEZ had a one man exhibition in Valencia - Spain at the " Segrelles Del Pilar Galeria" for his exhibition from November 7th till November 25th 2006.
- On September 2007, RICOLOPEZ was part in the Homage for Jose Luis Castillo- Puche in The University of Murcia.
- One man exhibition In Madrid, Spain, at " Galeria de Arte" during May, 2007.
- One man exhibition in Valencia, Spain during October and November 2008 at " Segrelles Del Pilar" Art Gallery in Valencia.

2003-2004:

- Vanidades Magazine publishes five of Ricolopez's works during January 2003.
- Exhibition at " David Lee Galleries" in Phoenix, Arizona during March 2003.
- Invited to the exhibition of paintings and Sculpture " Armonia, Paz y Amor 2003" by artists and sculptors from America and Europe at " One Brickell Square Gallery". Ricolopez received a Honor Diploma from The Miami- Dade County.
- One man exhibition at the Museo de las Casas Reales" in Santo Domingo during December 2003 sponsored by the " Secretaria de estado de Cultura Dominicana".
- Participates in the International Fine Arts Exhibition "Iberoamerican Artistic Development and Integration 2004" at " One Brickell Square Gallery" in Miami, February 2004.
- Participates in the " Hemispheric Congress of the Zcommerce and Latin Industry Chambers" at the Radisson Covention Center in Miami during March 2004.
- Exhibition in Valencia, Spain from November 11 till November 30, 2004 at the " Segrelles Del Pilar" Art Gallery.

- In February 2001 he had another exhibition in " Sala Gabernia" in Valencia, Spain.
- In April 2001 RICOLOPEZ participates in the collective exhibition " 17+4" at " The Barrio Museum" in Miami.
- In April 2001 participated at " The Pabellon de Arte Iberoamericano" in Miami.
-During October 2001 RICOLOPEZ participated in " the Euro-American Art" Exhibition in Miami.
-RICOLOPEZ signed his book presented at Barnes and Nobles, November 2001.
- One-man exhibitions in New Jersey, Chicago, Miami, Madrid and Valencia.

1996 - 2000:

- Included in the art book " Pintores Valencianos Contemporaneos" in Valencia (Spain) and in the art book "Pintores Espaņoles Contemporaneos" published in Madrid.
- Featured in the Dictionary of Contemporary Spanish Painters and Sculptors edited in Madrid.
- RICOLOPEZ had his paintings presented by Gallery of Art Opus 2000 at the Fair of Spain celebrated at the Convention Center of Miami in 1999.
- Awarded the honor of "Featured Artist" in the " Finest in the Midwest Shows '99 " in Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee.
- Homage and Retrospective exhibition in the Egypt Embassy in Madrid-Spain, December 1999 to January 2000.
- In Chicago RICOLOPEZ showed his work at the "Instituto Cervantes-Night of Spain" during The 16th Chicago Latino Film festival, April 2000
- In May 2000 RICOLOPEZ had an exhibit at the City Hall of Yecla- Murcia (Spain).
- In September 2000 RICOLOPEZ had an exhibit at "Nicole Gallery" in Chicago.
